- First, loosen the tube and remove the plastic lid from the ceramic spike.
- Put the spike and the lid in a bowl of water and allow it to soak for fifteen minutes.
- Fill the spike to the brim with water.
- Install the plastic lid and close tightly. If closed loosely, the spike will not work.
- Insert the ceramic spike into the soil in your plant vase.
- Then, fill a bowl with clean water and insert the ceramic pipe into the water. Ensure that the pipe head is completely immersed in the water.
